Can we have our luggage sent to the hotel?
We accept guests’ luggage on their behalf. We recommend using Black cat (Yamato Takyubin). Please allow at least two days for shipping.

What time is check-in/out?
Check-in time is 3 pm onwards, self-check-in is required after 10 pm. Check-out time is 10 am

Is it possible to request specific rooms?
If you require a specific room for accessibility needs please get in contact with us. We do not accept this type of request on any other basis.

Is there a laundry service provided?
Whilst we do not offer this service, we do have self-laundry facilities available for use.

Can we be picked up from the station?
Pick-up/drop-off requests can be made through this form. Drop-offs are available in the morning and Pick-ups from afternoon - evening.

What time is breakfast served?
We start serving at 7:00 am - 9:00 am. We will note your preferred time slot on arrival.

Does the hotel offer childcare?
We are unable to provide this service ourselves, however, we can recommend Myoko Snowsports for this. For more info.

We are driving to the hotel, is there parking availble?
Limited parking is available. Strictly by reservation only.

Can we make reservations for restaurants outside the hotel
Unfortunately, we can no longer assist with making reservations for restaurants outside the hotel.
Ski rental / passes / tours

Can we buy ski passes from you?
Ski passes cannot be bought from the hotel. Passes are available at the ticket boxes by the lift.

Where can we attend ski school?
There are several ski schools that operate in the village:

How much are ski passes?
1 day All mountain pass (Akakura Kanko & Onsen) is 6500 yen for adults and 5000 yen for children. Individual resort passes can be bought for around 5000 yen for an adult and 1200 yen for children.

Does your hotel have ski rentals?
We don’t have rentals, for this we recommend Aoyama Sports (10% discount for our guests), Powder Recon or Myoko Snowsports which are both down the road from us.

How big is the ski resort? How many lifts and gondolas?
It’s a medium size resort, there are two interconnected resorts with 21 lifts including 1 gondola. We are located just next to and above lift 1. Which you can ski in/out from.

Which ski tours would you recommend?
We recommend browsing the Myoko Tourism guide to find the tour that suits you best.

Restaurant Alp

A unique dining experience focused on locally sourced seasonal produce. Located next to Hotel Alp. For more details: Restaurant by A.I.R.
Asagao
Izakaya/yakitori style restaurant run by a young Japanese crew, a fun local experience. The restaurant does not take reservations.
Yakiniku Yoroku
Wagyu yakiniku style BBQ restaurant.
Akakura Kanko Hotel
Traditional French cuisine. (requires a taxi to and from the hotel).
