Bistro alp
Bistro Alp is a French-Japanese fusion cuisine restaurant, focusing on local produce and gibier. The food is delicious comfort food that is a combination of cultures and flavours. Refined and rustic, it perfectly matches the mountain atmosphere. The wine menu features French, Australian and Japanese wine as well as local craft beer and sake.
Our large dining space is perfect for families and large groups.
Naoki Eguchi
The head chef for this season is Naoki Eguchi 江口直樹 from Joetsu, Niigata.
Having trained and worked at kitchens in Paris and Tokyo from 2012 - 2018, Naoki opened his first restaurant in his hometown in 2018. After the roof of his traditional japanese machiya restaurant literally blew off in a snow storm, in 2022 he has since traveled Japan working as a private chef.
His enthusiasm for natural cuisine is driven by an interest in expressing the stories of the ingredients featured in his dishes.
In his free time, Naoki can be found flyfishing at the local lakes and rivers.
